yea… i didnt even noticed that its already valentines day… for one reason… as ussual im swamped with work again! and my real valentine’s date will be on the 17th why? dont ask
currently im on the process of moving all my server contents with HostMonster to my new host WedHosting Pad. I will give you reasons why you should choose and not choose either HostMonster or Web Hosting Pad.
With Host Monster for the first 2 years of sign up they will charge you only 5.95 and if you have coupon you would get it for less. Their tech support is great! and their live chat really works… when they say ” support ” they will really support you. BUT problem is… after your 2 year contract… you will have to pay $6.95 for the next succeeding year as far as i can remember that is also 2 years or maybe 3 ( whatever ). Me and my panic button Jeff are both hosted with Host Monster but apparently we were both not aware of the $6.75 fee for the succeeding years. Personally i think its way too much ( and i blame him for that lol ). My host is will expire on Sept. but thank god! i was bored enough to check my HostMonster Dashboard. But everything else is great! support, pageload and with their cpanel you will have your own domain manager and they also have simple scripts ( which WebHostingPad dont have ).
With WebHostingPad, its only $3.95 for 3 years and before i signed up i specifically asked how much do i have to pay after this 3 years contract and heres what he said ” John Patterson: we don’t jack up the prices on our customers after promising $3.96/month “ so just to make sure i sent myself a copy of the chat transcript to my email and had it print screen as well. ( just in case ) so, ok i signed up… payed and waited for few days for my other domain to be transferred with WebHostingPad. So since, with HostMonster have domain manager, i just changed one of my URL’s DNS settings pointing to webhostingpad and i started working etc etc then theres a bit of a prob. with cpanel’s phpMyAdmin… so what i did was i contacted support and this particular support guy names ” Brad Gilmore ” is a fucking god damn asshole! ( sorry, yes im mad! ) heres what he said ” Brad Gilmore: Welcome to Web Hosting Pad. How may I help you today? “ so i started stating my problem and waited for freakin 10 mins to reply! and no reply at all! so i opened another chat support box and copy pasted the issue i stated on the other chat box and you know what he did?! he freakin’ closed the chatbox! So, the first thing that came into my mind is that… This is what you get for cheap webhosting! SUPPORT IS CHEAP AS WELL! i was literally in rage earlier because i am trying to migrate everything as fast as i could and the problem is in their end not mine and yet thats the kind of support i would get?! at least tell me where to specifically address my problem? W T F ! Bottom line, if you are not very familiar about anything that has to do with migrating servers, php or whatever… you have 2 choices… #1 start google-ling… #2 DO NOT HOST WITH WEB HOSTING PAD. GOD DAMNIT! and yea HAPPY FUCKING VALENTINES DAY! freakin’ punks. They have 30 days money back guarantee. I sent and email to their admin asking where i can file a formal complain… and this admin representative named Mabin directly apologized and said ” I am asking you forgiveness if you are having any complaints about the live chat. Feel free to get back to us if you need any further assistance “ WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT MY COMPLAIN IS ALL ABOUT?! So im giving them 1 more… if this thing happend again… i am refunding! Like what they always say… ” if you don’t take care of your customers… someone else will! “

I really agree that webhosting pad is a lousy company. I am asking for a refund and have sent countless emails over.. they avoided me and refused to reply me. I tried to complain through the live chat and the same person brad gilmore is not helping either. I asked for the boss contact, he refused to give me.. saying this is confidential. When I asked for their customer service department email, he also refused too. when things goes wrong, they will just pretend and ignore. If possible, i would advise EVERYONE to stay away from this company. They are simply very unprofessional.
