I mentioned on my previous post about those colorful flip flops right? I myself… i really love and adore em. Wearing flip flops makes me comfortable and can be fashionable at the same time. I used to buy like shitloads of flip flops… i buy 1 pair a week as they are being sold so cheap here. But i am planning to burn them all the minute i saw these photos.

These Chinese Slippers are now being sold in Walmart in the US . Hopefully, they are not yet here in the Philippines …

This is very true as I heard it in news from one of our local radios here that our govt has to be extra careful on these cheap imports from china.. These includes clothes, food, toys, slippers and even glasses because the Chinese are using some strong but cheap chemical in their manufacturing process. Cheap is becoming expensive and at the same time fatal.

I recently received an email from a friend that contains shocking and awful images. It’s extremely hot here in the Philippines. The number one thing for a women who has a very long hair to have is a hair band. Second, flip flops are everywhere and its a trend here. Whether you’re 10 years old, on you’re 20’s, mid 30’s everyone must have it. Who can resist those bright colored flip flops from Havaianas? I even know someone who buys their entire collection just for fashion sake.

The purpose of this blog is to let you guys know that there are rubber products in the market that ” could be ” made in China coz they can be purchased very cheap and in bulk as well. Take a good look before buying hair bands in future – specially like the following kind…..

BEIJING (AFP) – Used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases they were originally meant to prevent, state media reported Tuesday

In the latest example of potentially harmful Chinese-made products, rubber hair bands have been found in local markets and beauty salons in Dongguan and Guangzhou cities in southern Guangdong province, China Daily newspaper said.

‘These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well ….. threatening the health of local people,’ it said.. Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said.

‘People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,’ the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying. A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just Rs.5, much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said. Read the rest of this entry »

Its been really a long time since i actually blogged… theres too much happening in my life right now… and i dunno where to start.

Anyway, first thing that popped in my mind is how different my life is ever since i got married. Having that special someone to share your lifetime with is a very BIG adjustment for me. Even though i know that my husband is a very wonderful human being… he is taking care of me, trying to be understanding as much as he could ( in-spite of me being sooo stubborn ), my parents / family loves him and accepted him easily and he even became my cousins friends which is very important to me because i am always with them and they are like my brothers.
